Europe : « COVID19 » Bosch a développé un test de dépistage rapide et automatisé
Bosch Healthcare Solutions a annoncé jeudi 26 mars 2020 avoir développé un test de dépistage automatisé d’une infection par le coronavirus SARS-Cov-2. Le système, conçu en partenariat avec Randox Laboratories, permet d’obtenir le résultat en moins de 2h30… contre des délais actuels d’un à deux jours. L’Allemand se targue d’être parvenu à développer ce test rapide de diagnostic moléculaire en six semaines.
Une analyse par la borne Vivalytic
Un échantillon doit être prélevé sur le nez ou la gorge du patient à l’aide d’un écouvillon. L’échantillon est ensuite inséré dans une cartouche qui contient déjà tous les réactifs nécessaires au test. Enfin, la cartouche doit être introduite dans la borne Vivalytic pour que l’échantillon soit analysé de manière automatisée. Il n’a pas besoin d’être transféré à un laboratoire et la personne peut donc être testée à l’endroit même où elle est prise en charge (hôpital, centre de santé, laboratoire…).
Le dispositif peut détecter une infection par le coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 ainsi que neuf autres maladies respiratoires, comme la grippe de type A et B, assure Bosch. Un seul analyseur Vivalytic peut effectuer jusqu’à 10 tests en une seule journée, et il n’est pas nécessaire d’avoir une formation particulière pour l’utiliser. Ces analyseurs sont commercialisés depuis 2018. Toujours d’après Bosch, le test fournit des résultats avec « une précision supérieure à 95% » et est conforme aux normes de qualité émises par l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS)…
